The fourth annual community Easter egg hunt will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 30 on the south lawn of Academy Place Apartments, 340 N. Washington St., Knightstown. The event is for ages 0-12 and is sponsored by Academy Place Apartments, Mid-Country Media, Hoosier Feeder Company, and Knightstown United Methodist Church.
We have the extreme honor to host the Daughters of the American Revolution on March 30th from 1pm to 4pm for their special presentation for Veterans of the Vietnam War Era. This event is open to everyone to attend. Vietnam veterans will receive a gift.
Hickory Creek will host an Easter egg hunt from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, March 30 at 901 N. 16th St., New Castle. Two free bicycles will be given away as grand prizes for children who find the two golden eggs. There will be hamburgers, hot dogs, games, music and more. The Easter bunny will also make an appearance. The event is free to the public. For more information, call 765-529-4695.
Easter activities will take place from 3-5 p.m. Saturday, March 30 at Henry County Memorial Park, 260 W. County Road 100 N., New Castle. The Easter egg hunt will begin at 4 p.m. Eggs will be hidden in four different locations but there will not be assigned age groups. The hunt is scheduled to take place in the area around the big shelter house. A map with more details will be posted to the park’s Facebook page. Volunteers are needed to help fill eggs as they become available. Anyone who would like to assist can stop by the park office between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
