Greensboro Township Easter Extravaganza

FreeThe fourth annual Greensboro Township Easter Extravaganza, hosted by Kennard Krusaders, the Kennard Volunteer Fire Department and Kennard Police Department, will take Sunday, March 24. An Easter parade begins at 2 p.m. and will go through Kennard and end at the basketball courts on Ind. 234. Activities will be set up at the basketball courts. Walking taco meals will be available to purchase for $3 and drinks will be available for $1. An Easter egg hunt will start between 3 and 3:30 p.m. More than 1,000 eggs will be available for each age group. Two eggs in each of the 2-5, 6-10 and 11-17 age groups will have papers in them to redeem for special Easter baskets. There will also be raffles. In the event of rain, the event will be re-scheduled for 3 p.m. Saturday, March 30. Volunteers are needed to assist with the event. Anyone who would like to volunteer should contact the event hosts.
