Christmas at the Farm
November 15 & 16, 10am – 4pm
Join 922 Decor Co for Christmas at the Farm, a free event brimming with festive cheer. Explore an array of vendors offering Christmas shopping options and gifts. Capture joyful moments with Santa, enjoy an on-site food truck, and partake in the opportunity to feed and pet the Highland cows. Warm up with a cup of hot cocoa from the cocoa bar. Don’t miss “Santa’s Workshop,” a tiny store filled with toys and gifts.
Downtown Christmas Tree Lighting
November 15, 5 pm
Join the community for the time-honored tradition of the annual tree lighting ceremony.
New Castle Christmas Parade
November 16, 4 pm
The Knights of Pythias All-American Christmas Parade kicks off at Baker Park and travels down South Main Street, ending at Santa’s Place at Tis The Season on Broad Street. The street will be filled with holiday cheer as businesses dress up for Christmas and parade floats get festive!
Whitetail Tree Farm
Opening day is Friday, November 29, 9 am to dark.
After that, Saturday, 9 am to dark. Sunday-Friday, noon to dark
Visit Whitetail Tree Farm for the Christmas Season on the Farm! Choose and cut your own Christmas tree. Browse through the gift shop for wreaths, gifts, and decor, and visit Santa’s Corner and the Highland Cows, Bonnie and Clyde. Grab a treat at the White Tail Sweet Shoppe while you’re there.
Holiday Lights Festival and Arts Park Light Display
November 30, 5-8 pm
The Art Association of Henry County will host a Holiday Lights Festival with food trucks, vendors, live music, and the Farmer’s Market. This is a free event and includes the Arts Park Light Display illumination. Experience the enchanting light display at the Arts Park, featuring thousands of twinkling lights and festive decorations. Walk through the park and take in the magical atmosphere. Make plans to go back to the Art Center on December 6 for Martinis & Mistletoe!
New Castle’s Downtown Christmas Walk
December 5, 2024, 5-8 pm
Stroll through Downtown New Castle and enjoy the festive atmosphere. Take part in the sights and sounds of the season with music, a horse-drawn trolley, a live reindeer and nativity, a bounce house, a kiddie train, and more. Shop for unique gifts and decorations at local vendor booths and downtown businesses.
Christmas in the Park
December 7, 5-10 pm
The Henry County Memorial Park is magnified under thousands of lights, and lighting the park is a magical experience everyone should see. For one night, the park roads will close to allow a walk-through of the light displays, shopping with local vendors, horse and carriage rides, crafts, and meet and greets with Santa and the Grinch. This is a free event with free hot chocolate!
Middletown Annual Christmas Parade
December 7, 4 pm
The annual Christmas Parade in Middletown promises to be a festive celebration with a vendor fair and luminary walk. Santa Claus will make a grand entrance by helicopter, and families can take photos with him and Mrs. Claus. Complimentary chili, hot dogs, hot cocoa, and cookies will add to the holiday cheer.
Christmas Bazaars and Small Business Saturday
Visit the many Christmas bazaars and markets throughout the county for one-of-a-kind gifts and handmade crafts. Support local businesses on Small Business Saturday and take advantage of special promotions and discounts.

- December 14, 9 am-4 pm: Memorial Baptist Church Christmas Bazaar at The Crossing of 38 in New Castle
