Fall is here! Join us on Trail 5 for a Fall Themed Scavenger Hunt. What To Bring: Flashlight, Pencils, Clipboard and anything you think you would need for a night hike!
Join us for Shoreline and Lake Cleanup by meeting us at the Boat Rental. The 1st 10 people will get a free kayak/canoe/rowboat for the duration of the volunteering event (12-2pm). (First come, first serve) We will provide trash bags and gloves. Thank you in advance to all of our volunteers!
Join us at the North Ramp Parking Lot for Touch-a-Truck, fall-themed crafts, and Trunk-or-Treat. If you have a unique piece of equipment or vehicle OR would like to set for our Trunk-or-Treat please contact the park office or email SummitLakeSP@dnr.in.gov for the application to secure a parking space. Join us for this spooky fun run/walk while in your Halloween costume! The 5k will be a combination of moderate Trail 2 and pavement. 5:00-7:00 pm: Trick-or-Treating in the campground and judging for Campsite decorating contest (multiple categories to be determined and prizes will be awarded). 7:00 pm: Awards for Campsite Decorating and Pumpkin CarvingActivities will take place throughout the campground and the naturalist site (also located within the campground).
